Nestled at the rear of the existing home, this extension is a result of the exploration of multiple schemes that aims to create a new master bedroom, an ensuite & a private retreat for the owner.

Embracing the site's slope as a design opportunity, we have delved deep to fully utilise a lower-level space, and also creating great view that the owners can wake up to every morning.

One of the core design elements in this project is the balcony decking, which unlocks the access to the previously unused backyard, and also creates endless potential for outdoor enjoyment and landscaping. A key aspect of our design approach is prioritising abundant natural lighting. Which is why the balcony is strategically placed in the centre of the home to maximise natural lighting into it.
